Bethenny Frankel Returning to 'Real Housewives' Is Too Good to Be True

Bethenny If ever there was a surefire way to send ratings for The Real Housewives of New York soaring, it would be to bring former Housewife Bethenny Frankel back on the show. Right?

Ballsy yet likable, fans flip for Bethenny, and Bravo knows it. The network has reportedly invited her back on the show, and I can't think of much that would be better for the franchise.

With the cancellation of her own show Happily Ever After, she does arguably have time to do it. Her divorce, booming business, and everything going on in her life would certainly add plenty of story lines. And can you even you imagine how amazing she and Carole Radziwill would be together? I can just see it now.

Sadly, we'll probably never see it, though, and any news of her return really probably is too good to be true. Literally  -- as in, it's false. Bethenny's "close pal" told Perez Hilton:

Bethenny is the biggest star the franchise has ever created. She is double the size star of Teresa Giudice or Andy Cohen– of course the producers want her back. However, don’t hold your breath.

We'd totally hold our breath if it would help! I know she has her own empire to run, and Real Housewives is probably something she's long moved beyond. But we can still hope.

And at least we know Bethenny hasn't totally ruled out a role as a Housewife in the future. During The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion on Sunday she tweeted:

In heaven right now & i've decided if i were to ever be a housewife again it would only be in atlanta.

The ATL, wherever. I would kill to see her take on Kenya Moore. Miss "Gone With the Wind Fabulous" wouldn't know what hit her fan.

Would you like to see Bethenny return to RHONY? Do you think she will?
