'DWTS' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba in Tears After Andy Dick's Emotional Performance (VIDEO)

Whoa. The Dancing With the Stars judges are always pretty emotionally charged while giving their critique of each week's performances, but last night, Carrie Ann Inaba's tears fell straight into the "ugly cry" category.

After watching Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess' Viennese Waltz, which he dedicated to his daughter, poor Carrie Ann couldn't stop the water works from flowing freely -- to the point where most of us at home started to get a little choked up by her weepy reaction.

Here's a clip of Andy's performance, and near the end, you'll see Carrie Ann lose it and have a hard time composing herself before giving her feedback. Take a look, and then we'll discuss.

Aww! So genuine and sweet, right? I guess it's pretty easy to see why Carrie couldn't contain her raw emotion after Andy and Sharna's dance. Yes, he's been a bit of a troublemaker (to say the least) in the past, but I gotta admit -- I'm having a tough time not rooting for him this season.

When the cast was initially announced and I heard his name, I figured he'd be over-the-top ridiculous and goofy throughout the competition. But it was highly obvious after the first week's performances that Andy has cleaned up his act, and he's taking DWTS very seriously. He knows he's been given a second chance to redeem his image, and it's clear that he has no intention of letting himself (or anyone else) down by not putting 100 percent effort into the show.

And another thing -- it was pretty much impossible not to fall in love with Andy a little bit after hearing him talk about how much he adores his children. (Even though my first reaction was, "Andy Dick has kids?!?")

With any luck, his heartfelt performance coupled with Carrie Ann's weeping will buy him at least one more week in the competition. It would be such a shame to see him go home this soon.

Were you moved to tears by Andy's dance?
