When Taylor Swift isn't singing about a relationship gone wrong, she's touting the joys of being a teenager early-20-something. Like in her new song, "22," in which she attempts to regale us by singing about that age when you're feeling "happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time" and you don't get any sleep and, according to the music video, you go out to parties in cat ears and then fall backwards into pools.
Awww, isn't that preeecious? Can't help but wonder what she'll be singing about in 10 years, when she's 32?! Well, Elaine Moran and her gals over at Fuse have an idea what that might look/sound like ...
HA, there is so much about this to love. Like having "wrinkles and acne at the same time," reading Fifty Shades and "kinda liking it!" and "got a cat now too!" Also love the random, original 90210 tee.
You don't even have to be 32 to be able to relate to this. I'm 29, and yup, one drink a night'll do it for me, and my Facebook newsfeed has been "crowded with newborns" for a while now! Actually, I'd venture to guess most women over 27 could relate to this a lot more than "22," but something tells me that no matter how old she gets, Tay's never going to get this real. She'll probably still be singing about puppies and breakups and unrequited crushes at 32. Ugh.
By the way, here's the vid for "22," in case you haven't seen it yet and don't mind witnessing some incredibly dorky and pseudo-"gangsta" dance moves ...
How hilarious is this parody? Can you relate?
