Big news from Bravo today, Real Housewives fans. The network confirmed that at least three of the ladies from The Real Housewives of New York City are coming back for season six. One is a big shocker; one's a relief; and one is just kind of annoying.
Any guesses as to which three lovely ladies have signed their life away for another season on the show?
The shocker -- Carole Radziwill. I'm beyond thrilled that she is, as she's like the coolest Housewife ever (they don't call her "Cool Carole" for nothing"); I just didn't expect it. I kind of thought she did the show just for kicks and to drum up a little publicity for her books, but would then move on and chalk it up to a big old laugh. Fortunately for us, she's coming back for more.
The relief -- Ramona Singer. She drives people bonkers, and some think she has long overstayed her welcome. I wouldn't have been totally shocked if Bravo had decided it was time for her to move on, but I'm glad they didn't. I've always had a soft spot for Ramona and find her highly entertaining. So that makes two strong Housewives.
The annoying -- Heather Thomson. I will say she grew on me a bit toward the end, but for most of last season I found her and her "Holla!" highly irritating. At least she isn't LeAnn de Lesseps (Please God, Andy Cohen, don't let that woman come back), which would be way worse.
Others whom Bravo is still reportedly undecided on include Sonja Morgan (who's a hoot, but I wouldn't cry if she didn't come back) and Aviva Drescher (who was a crazy diva, but at least made for some good drama). There could be a new Housewives of two as well. "They may want to round out the cast with fresh meat," a source told the New York Daily News. Bring it on.
Who do you most want to see return to RHONY? Least?
