Good grief. Desiree Hartsock has barely been filming her season of The Bachelorette for five seconds, and already it sounds like she's encountered more than her fair share of drama with the dudes who were cast selected to date her.
Yes, we already know the identities of some of the Bachelorette's 25 guys -- and while there seem to be a few promising suitors in the bunch, one most definitely isn't what he appears to be.
*Warning: Spoilers Ahead*
Get this one -- according to Reality Steve, 28-year-old Brian Jarosinski had a girlfriend when he went on the show, and at some point during filming last week, she showed up and confronted him. (Oh, the horror. Can't wait to see that little exchange go down.)
He supposedly was "removed," a.k.a. kicked off the show, after that, so I guess we can cross him off the list as a potential finalist. But considering the girlfriend in question is a former Playboy Playmate, I doubt he's wallowing in misery right now -- unless, of course, she's pissed off about him going on The Bachelorette in the first place.
And if she isn't, then it probably means she was in on the whole deal and knew Brian was applying to be on the show -- and that probably means producers were aware of his dating status as well.
Oh come on, you know they take this sort of thing into consideration when filling those 25 spots! They can't risk having a scandal-free, boring season -- that wouldn't be any fun. If I had to guess, I'd say Brian was likely cast because he had a girlfriend, and her showing up and confronting him was planned from the beginning.
I wouldn't be surprised if the only person kept out of the loop was Desiree -- and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit excited to see how she reacts when she realizes not all the men on the show may be there for the right reasons.
(Cue the ugly cry during the confessional.)
This season hasn't even premiered yet, and it's already shaping up to be a good one.
Do you think this guy was cast specifically because he had a girlfriend?
