Kim Kardashian is finally getting some attention for something besides her pregnancy, weight gain, and bizarre baby name choices. Her bad acting! Reviews out for Tyler Perry's new movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor are worse than her fashion reviews. Much, much worse. I know this will come as a shock, but Kim is apparently NOT the next Meryl Streep. Let's check out some of these review bombs.
According to RadarOnline, which did a bit of a roundup, Kim's reviews go from worse to worse. I mean, there's really nothing in between. I haven't seen critics this lambasting since Guy Fieri got sliced and diced in the New York Times.
The Wrap: Kim Kardashian, as nasal and awful an actress as you might imagine.
Time Out: And Kim Kardashian, as the protagonist’s bitchy fashionista coworker, vainly trying to act.
Hollywood.com: Her coworker Ava is played by Kim Kardashian, a true feat of stunt casting that’s only made all the more impressive by her inability to inject the slightest bit of emotion into her steady stream of insults.
This isn't really surprising, is it? Kim isn't even very good at playing herself. Like most of the world, I'm baffled as to how this woman is a celebrity, but I guess I have to give her credit for making so much out of so little.
Anyway, I hope Kim has a Plan B for when her reality show inevitably goes off the air. Something tells me an Oscar isn't in her future. Not even a Raspberry. They'd have to invent a new acting award for Kim. Like maybe a Brussels Sprout or something. (No one likes them.)
What do you think of Kim's "acting"?
