Justin Bieber is making headlines again. And no, it's not because he's been up to anything awesome. It's because he allegedly got physical with a neighbor after said neighbor asked him to stop driving around the Calabasas neighborhood they live in at the breakneck speed of 100 miles per hour.
According to Neighbor, one morning before 9 a.m. when his wife was outside walking the dog (and when kids were out and about because it was spring break), he caught Justin driving around in his Ferrari like a raving lunatic. The neighbor who was "smoking hot" (aka "hella pissed") reportedly went over to Justin's house to read him the riot act, and lo and behold, Bieber allegedly made physical contact with him. And now the neighbor filed a battery report.
Of course, this is all alleged, and Justin's innocent until proven guilty, but I've gotta say: I'm apt to believe the neighbor here. And not just because multiple people are backing him up, but because Justin is out of control.
Simple fact is, Justin needs some sort of wrangler; someone to say to him, "No, brotha. That isn't a good idea." For the past few years of Justin's life, the only word he's probably heard is "yes", and that's not a good thing -- particularly for someone in the public eye.
Dude's going to turn into a joke! A punchline. (Okay, more so than he is now.) If Justin doesn't get his shit together, he's going to become the Lindsay Lohan of the pop world. And it's a shame, because regardless of what you think of him, he is legitimately talented. (Did you ever see Never Say Never? Surprising!)
I kind of hope Justin is forced to deal with some real consequences here if the allegations turn out to be true. And I'm not just talking paying a fine and moving on. Actual consequences that will maybe teach him a lesson.
It'll be good for you, Justin. Trust me.
What do you think of Justin Bieber's behavior lately?
