Farrah Abraham was one of the good ones from MTV's Teen Mom. She seemed to have her crap together. But, not anymore. Abraham was arrested Monday night for a DUI. And the details of her arrest are simply insane.
Cops say she was yelling and screaming. They say she bit the breathalyzer three times. Wow. I take back the things I said about Farrah being fine. This is a huge cry for help. Consider the facts:
Abraham was pulled over around 1 a.m. after allegedly hanging a wide turn and nearly hitting a police cruiser and blew a .147, almost twice the legal limit of alcohol. Her daughter Sophia was NOT in the car at the time, which is great, but what was she thinking?
Earlier I defended her, saying she made a mistake. But she made many, many mistakes. It doesn't make her a bad mom, but it does call into question what kinds of values she is living when she is capable of so many mistakes all at once.
None of it really matters, though. She can learn from her mistakes and grow and apologize and move on. But she has to DO that. So far, I am not seeing it.
She calls the DUI "drama," saying: "It's amazing what people believe & makeup (LOVE MY LIFE) #Thank #God #I'mSuccessful & I don't care about drama! #HaveAGreatDay."
Yeah, Farrah. It's not "drama." It's a real thing that you did and you should be sorry about. Learning from our mistakes means acknowledging them. Only then can we move on.
So yeah. Farrah has learned nothing and the details of her arrest kind of only make that clearer. The mistake was getting behind the wheel that wasted and then they just keep on coming. She isn't "famous" or "successful" enough to overcome this kind of ego and bad decision making.
Do you think Farrah owns what she did here?
