Sorry, haters. If you're keeping your fingers and toes crossed in the hopes that Bachelor Sean Lowe and his fiance Catherine Giudici won't make it to the altar, you might as well go ahead and give up, already.
Based on the fact that Catherine has been bonding and hanging out with Sean's mom, odds are good that they may be one of those few Bachelor couples who actually stay together, get married, have a couple kids, and live happily ever after.
Yep, Catherine and her future mother-in-law, Sherry Lowe, were spotted together at an outdoor market in L.A. (and they looked very happy, I might add).
And did you happen to notice that Catherine was also sitting right next to Sean's parents for the premiere of Dancing With the Stars? Oh yes, she was.
Geez. Shopping with Sherry and cheering her man on right alongside his mom and dad? (That's more than I've ever done with my in-laws and I've been married almost 10 years. True story.)
If Catherine has already been accepted into Sean's family and has their stamp of approval, odds are good they aren't going to be willing to let her go anytime soon. They are family-oriented people in every sense of the word, and welcoming their future daughter-in-law to the crew isn't something they take lightly. Or at least they don't strike me as the kind of people who would warm up to Catherine solely for the sake of being polite.
And judging from how their relationship is going so far, Catherine is one very lucky lady. All any girl really hopes for in a mother-in-law is someone who will accept and respect her for who she is, but doing the whole shopping thing and being her friend is a HUGE bonus.
Hell, my son is only 7 years old and I'm already making plans to take his wife out to lunch, shopping, and on girls' weekends whenever I get the chance. I already love her and I don't even know her. (And she's SO gonna adore me.)
Yep, if I had to guess, I'd say we'll see Sean and Catherine tie the knot before 2013 comes to a close for sure. And if for some strange reason they don't make it down the aisle? I hope Sean's prepared for a major earful from mama.
Do you think in-laws can make or break relationships?
