robert pattinsonI'm not sure why you'd want to smear dirt all over your face and make your teeth look jank if you're Robert Pattinson, but apparently, it comes with the job. RPattz is still shooting The Rover in Australia, and lemme tell ya -- dude is barely recognizable.

I mean, he still looks hot in a haven't-showered-in-weeks, trash ball kind of way, but Rob needs a good wash down, yo. You won't believe his transformation when you see it.

Celebuzz managed to snap some pretty up-close-and-personal shots of the actor while he works, which was probably annoying for him, but good for us. Doesn't he look like a completely different person?

I wonder if Rob will keep up this appearance, or a rendition of it, after The Rover wraps. It's a little nasty, but not a bad way to keep a low-pro if he's sick and tired of the media circus that is he and Kristen Stewart.

(Whatever you decide to do -- we'll still heart you, Rob.)
