According to Reality Steve, the next Bachelorette has already been chosen, and her identity will officially be revealed on The Bachelor "After the Final Rose" special airing on Monday, March 11.

Again, if you don't want to know and you keep reading anyway -- prepare to have the surprise ruined. And don't say I didn't warn you.

The next Bachelorette is reportedly Desiree Hartsock, the lovable Katie Holmes lookalike who Sean Lowe sent home right after the hometown dates.

Yep, it looks like Dez will be in the driver's seat the next time around and will have her pick of 25 men to hopefully fall in love with. And it appears as though producers aren't wasting any time in getting the ball rolling on her season, because Desiree was spotted filming "something" on the Santa Monica Pier. Supposedly she was seen gazing out to sea while holding cotton candy -- and she "looked like she was enjoying herself."

C'mon -- cotton candy, the ocean, a camera crew, and a smile on her face? If that's not the perfect recipe for a Bachelorette promo, I certainly don't know what is.

And I guess none of us should really be the least bit shocked if Dez has, in fact, filled the job. Duh. Everyone's in love with her. (Except for Sean.) She's smart. She's sweet. She's fun. And yes, her brother is a real jackass, but maybe he'll be different this time around. Bottom line -- America adores her. And you know what that means, right? Exactly. Ratings GOLD. (Who are we kidding? It's all about the ratings, people.)
