Is the best defense NO defense? January Jones seems to think so. When the 35-year-old Mad Men bombshell was bombarded by paparazzi at LAX with questions about her supposed fling with Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth, her chosen response was to not respond at all. I can't say I blame her -- do these people really think she's gonna stop, drop her carry-on bag and give a blow-by-blow (sorry) of exactly what went down (sorry) in the back of that car the night of the Oscars?! Naturally, some people are taking her lack of denial as confirmation of the affair with the 23-year-old fiancé of Miley Cyrus. But what if the rumors ARE true?
In case you haven't heard, "sources" claim this is what happened that night:
“They went to a private house party, and right in the middle of the party, January was clinging to Liam, saying, ‘You’re so handsome.' He kept saying, ‘We can’t do this here.’ Then they left holding hands and went out in the hallway and were making out. She was wasted. It wasn’t good.”
But what if it was good? The two reportedly escaped in a private car around 2:30 a.m.; no telling where they ended up. I'm almost hoping it was somewhere in the neighborhood of sexyville, personally. Not because I want Miley's feelings to be hurt -- that would be sad -- but because she and Hemsworth are still super young and probably not quite ready to settle down. Besides, maybe an older woman could teach Hemsworth a thing or two. What do he and Miley do for fun when they're not taking bong hits? Check out this vid and tell us:

Oh get a grip people. Yes it would suck if the rumors are true. But I DO hope they are true. Because the pain will stay, but you will learn a lesson. That maybe, just maybe, they werent meant for each other. Just because theyre both celebrities doesnt mean that they should always get the happy ending. They are people just like you and I. Grow up. Shit happens. Would it suck if they were true, yeah, but if at this young, you cant pick yourself up, dust off, and keep going, then you deserve to be broken.
