'Teen Mom' Stars May Have a Book Deal in the Works & We're Pretty Psyched

catelynn lowellIf you've been sitting on your thumbs debating whether or not to read Teen Mom Farrah Abraham's possibly, if not entirely ill-advised children's book Passy Perfume, or her memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended, stop right there. Because if you're going to read anything a Teen Mom has written, go ahead and wait for the yet to be released book from Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra.

Tyler hinted on Twitter what their book's going to be about and oh me oh my, this is gonna be good, j'all.

He tweeted to his fiance Catelynn:

Writing a young love story…ours. Who’s excited to read?

Hmm. Are these two crazy kids writing an auto-biography about their amazing love story? They say truth is stranger than fiction, and the truth is, Cate and Ty's history is pretty strange, slash remarkable.

They met in junior high, started dating, got pregnant, got a TV show, gave their girl up for adoption, and somehow, throughout all of it, managed to stay grounded, wholesome people. Plus, on top of all that, their parents have battled drug use and jail time -- to say they don't come from very stable homes is an understatement.

There's a lot these two can share with the world -- their positivity and generous spirits make them excellent role models for teens, whether they're young parents or not.

If I were the type of person to read a book penned by an MTV-lebrity, I'd give Catelynn and Tyler's a skim. And hey, while we're fantasizing about MTV books, I'm also interested in reading anything Eric Nies is or isn't willing to put out.

Congrats to Cate and Ty -- a book deal is a big deal -- and if any of the Teen Moms deserves the privilege, it's them.

Do you think Catelynn and Tyler should write a book?
