Oh yes she did. Miss 'Gone With the Wind Fabulous' Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta hadn't pissed enough people off in the ATL so she had to go and attack elsewhere. She chose to throw her hate around to McIntyre, Georgia, and the girl who put the tiny town on the map -- Honey Boo Boo.
In an interview with In Touch Kenya dissed Alana and her mama June Shannon, saying, "Honey Boo Boo is not a role model for young women. Her mother puts her onstage looking like a glorified hooker!”
And she didn't stop there.
Pageants are about having poise and promoting self-esteem and self-worth. When a little girl wears a lot of makeup, fake teeth and extensions, like hookers do — that’s just not appropriate.
Excuse while I stop choking. Not appropriate? Is she really criticizing someone for not being appropriate when she walked into a fundraiser filled with people wearing this just to mock Phaedra Parks?
Can you say hypocrite? Or better yet, fame-whoring hypocrite who will do anything for a little publicity. How appropriate is it to compare a little girl to a hooker? If she really cared about her welfare, she could have picked kinder words.
Leave Honey Boo Boo alone. America (or most of America) loves her just the way she is. While the whole pageant world has plenty of problems, it certainly doesn't need any help from some former queen clutching her crown who has shown a ridiculous lack of class (her new Booty Boot Camp video, for another example) and doesn't even know what appropriate is. I can't wait to hear what Mama June has to say about this.
