Jennifer Aniston seems to me like one of the most un-polarizing celebs in Hollywood, but some people just loooove to hate on her. They kvetch that she's boring, overrated, phony, and now ... she's a total diva. Yup, Jen's rumored holier-than-thou behavior is earning her a Mariah Carey-like reputation on the Connecticut set of her new flick, The Untitled Elmore Leonard Project.
"A source" (uh huh) close to the set says that Jen doesn't socialize with any of the cast -- Isla Fisher, Tim Robbins, and Will Forte also star -- or crew and purposely keeps herself removed as much as possible. Apparently, everyone breaks for lunch for "well over an hour" and sits together and socializes, but Jen is "the only person who doesn’t eat with everyone else. She quickly grabs a lunch to go and leaves.” How dare she! What a total MEAN GIRL!
The source whines:
All the actors ride in normal production vans when they head to lunch, but Jen has her own luxury SUV. And not only is Jen’s private trailer miles away from the set, but she heads all the way back there each day to eat her lunch away from everyone else.
Oh please. I'm no Jen Aniston fangirl, but I can't help but think this is complete garbage. But even if there is some truth to it, even if she isn't having "Kumbaya" lunches with the cast and crew every day, so what?
There are a multitude of reasons that she might be peacing out to her private trailer. (Maybe it's cuz she's PREGGERS! Ha ... no, no, that couldn't be it. Or could it?!) Maybe she's caught one of the many cold season bugs going around and doesn't want to infect everyone else? Maybe they're shooting such long hours that it's her only chance during the day to FaceTime with fiance Justin Theroux. Maybe they start shooting at 4 a.m. and by lunch, she needs her lunch with a side of cat nap. Mercury is retrograde in aloof Pisces, so maybe she's just not feeling so darn social right now. Who knows. But to jump to the conclusion that it's cuz she's a b*tchy diva who thinks she's above everyone else on set is totally ridic.
I'm not seeing why all of a sudden, after being in the biz for 20+ years, Jen would start acting like she's above everyone else. A star looking for a little time to herself shouldn't be seen as gasp-worthy behavior. Until she starts submitting rider requests for air purifiers, puppies, and rose petals in her exclusive on-set toilet, let's just let her be!
Do you buy these claims that Jen's suddenly a diva?
