Brandi Glanville Spills More 'RHOBH' Secrets & It's All Starting to Make Sense

Brandi GlanvilleEach week I watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air their dirty laundry and let the world see their insane fights, feuds, and freaky behavior, and wonder why. Why do they do it? Is it for the fame? Is it because they're missing some kind of  common sense gene? Well, Brandi Glanville recently revealed one big fat reason that answers that question, at least in part --their paychecks.

While their salaries are supposedly confidential information, that's never stopped Brandi before. She recently spilled to Howard Stern about exactly how much they women on RHOBH earn.

She told him that she only made about $18,000 during her first season as a part-time Housewife. That's increased to $136,000 now that she's joined on full-time, but it still doesn't match the $250,000 that the other ladies (or c#nts as she called them on air) make. She finds that totally unfair. "I want what they're getting, because I feel like I work hard," she told Stern.

And she deserves it. She's certainly added a whole new level of drama to the show, and honestly without her, the whole thing would be a big snoozefest. So while Bravo might not be happy with her blabbing this info (“I’m not supposed to tell anyone this, but I’m just telling you," she told Stern.), they really should be happy enough with her dramatics that they bump her salary up a few notches.

As for the $250,000 salary ...  it definitely helps explain why they're so willing to spill their secrets to the world. That's no small sum for simply letting cameras film you during a few lunches and dinner parties, now is it? Of course, it's a small sum for one's dignity, but I'm pretty sure lack of dignity is a prerequisite for being a Housewife, so that's probably a moot point.

While some of the ladies like Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof are loaded, that's still a significant amount of money. They're both businesswomen, and I'm sure that hefty salary makes it all a bit more tolerable and has made them want to stick around  for awhile, launch a few new products, and laugh all the way to the bank with their damaged reputations.

Are you surprised to learn how much the RHOBH make? Would $250,00 be enough to get you on the show?
