If you thought you had a bad Valentine's Day, maybe you should compare your situation to Kris Humphries'. The basketballer, who after his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian has been going through divorce proceedings for what feels like an eternity now, was dropped by his attorney Marshall Waller yesterday. According to TMZ, Waller said there's been an "irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship." Eeesh, that's one V-Day breakup Humphries is gonna have a tough time getting over. Personally, I suggest buying some 75-percent-off dark chocolates today to ease the pain.
While Kris still has an out-of-state lawyer, he still needs another California lawyer to sponsor him in the case to move forward. Let's be real: I think this just shows that Kris must have unreasonable expectations for what he wants out of this. Generally, lawyers only ditch YOU if they know they can't win a case.
Let's be real here, Hump, it's time to just let go and move on.
The way I see it, Kris' whole schtick that he only wanted to be married once and feels like Kim has cheated him out of the chance to have a real, loving marriage is a bunch of bologna. Listen, man, you got married on reality television and even if the annulment was to go through -- the fact is that everyone in the world will always think of you as Kim Kardashian's ex-husband.
Just do yourself a favor and move on, man. This can't be fun for you, and Kim's made it VERY apparent that this is no walk in the park for her, she's trying to move on with Kanye West, and the stress from all of this could be hurting her unborn child. The way I see it, there's no reason to drag this out any longer. The sooner Humphries rids himself of any tie-ins with the Kardashians, the better off he'll be.
Do you think Kris should just let go of all of this and get a regular divorce at this point?
