Chris Brown crashes his carIt seems like Chris Brown and the Grammys just don't jive well together. In 2009, Chris and girlfriend Rihanna got into the physically abusive fight that will arguably define the rest of his career. Four years later, Brown crashed his car the day before the big show. According to Brown's rep, the singer crashed his Porsche during an "aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi." Allegedly two paps cut Brown off, however the photo agency that all the photographers work for says they "has nothing to do with Chris Brown crashing."

Right, but they all just happened to be right near by to take photos of the crash scene. In my eyes, just like any other celebrity, the paparazzi have it out for Brown all of the time. Yes, they can be over-the-top and reckless at times. But they wouldn't be going after him this aggressively this weekend if it weren't for his past.

I'll start by saying this: Brown doesn't deserve this. A lot of time has passed, but the hard truth is just because Rihanna has been able to forgive and forget does NOT mean the rest of the world has. That's why the paparazzi are going after him, because he has given them a true reason to.

Is it fair? Of course not. No one should have to deal with the dangers that come with fleeing flashing cameras and overindulgent photographers. But this is what happens when you put yourself out there.

I want to believe that Brown's getting his life back on track. It seems that him and Rihanna are in a really great place and it's been quite some time since we've seen a wretched Twitter rant. His recent altercation in a parking lot with Frank Ocean makes me wary, though. One thing's for sure: tonight should definitely be interesting.

Do you think Brown is at fault?
