honey boo booWhether you think it's right or not, there is no disputing that Honey Boo Boo and her family are really big stars. The proof? Everyone knows who they are -- lovers and haters alike. And their TLC hit, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, pulls in three million viewers per week. But they aren't letting the fame go to their head. "We're not Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie," Mama June Shannon recently told In Touch magazine. It's nice to hear they are still so humble, but it's only a matter of time before they turn into prima donnas. In fact, the signs are already there.

They are keeping it real for the time being -- mud boggin', playing Guess Whose Breath, and noshing on sketti. June insists that life in the spotlight won't change them one bit. In fact, they don't even consider themselves real celebrities. “We still live off Sugar Bear’s income as a chalk miner. We’re everyday country people,” she said.

But eventually they will succumb to the lure of palm trees and mega mansions. They are like the modern day Beverly Hillbillies. With all the cash they are raking in, a move to La La Land is inevitable. Plus, Honey Boo Boo clearly has her sights set on superstardom. Only one place she can do that. Still, little Alana insists she has more down-to-earth dreams. She want to be "a mama, a beauty queen, working at Walmart, working at McDonald's so I can eat their chicken nuggets, a veterinarian, and a nurse." Honey Boo Boo added, "I like to help other people."

We'll see. Though I have to admit, they have kept the splurges down to a minimum. So far, they've gotten a Ford Expedition and an above-ground pool. “We had fun, we've had adventures, and we’ve made tons of memories that we wouldn't have made otherwise,” Mama June says of their TV fame. “Someday, we’ll all look back and laugh about this experience.” So will we, mama. So will we.
