There are loads of little celebrity rivalries in Hollywood. Think Drake and Chris Brown, Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. Seems that we may have another duo to add to this list of fiery: Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. According to Us Weekly, Grammy execs were asked to keep the two country megastars from crossing paths at this Sunday's awards since they "hate each other."
Well ... that's awkward. One of Taylor's friends told the magazine that "Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear." I'll be real, I highly doubt that these two actually have really serious beef, but the possibility of it doesn't surprise me. Taylor's young and on top of her game and Carrie's a seasoned vet. Plenty of room for cattiness when you're competing for the same fans.
But come ON -- if this feud is real, this is the Grammys for crying out loud. Can't we put aside our "problems" and get along?
Life's just too short. Even though Taylor's relationship patterns bother the hell out of me, she's one talented lady, and so is Carrie. The Grammy Awards is a time to laugh at horribly dressed musicians and then come together and celebrate the past year in music. Both leading singers deserve to be there, to be honored, and to enjoy the night. Plain and simple: there's just no reason that seeing someone that isn't your BEST friend should ruin that big of an occasion. What are we, 13 again?
I'm not saying that Taylor and Carrie need to get up on stage, sing a duet, and then hug it out or anything. If this little feud is real, though, they should just do themselves a favor, be mature, and put their differences behind them. They're too talented to let something like this tarnish their image.
Do you think the feud is real? Are you on Team Carrie or Team Taylor?

I am not a fan of Carrie Underwood, her voice grates on my nerves. On the other hand I love Taylor Swift so if there is a "feud" (and I doubt there is) I guess I am on Team Taylor.
Not a real fued. If you have done any research at all into Carrie Underwood, hard to find anyone who says anything bad about her. Taylor, while she may have BF issues doesn't apear to be a Diva either. If the fued is real then they've been professional or we would have heard more info. I think it's articles like this that create so many false stories.........DO SOME FREAKIN RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PUBLISH.
I love this... "Why can't just get along/let's bury the hatchet" "What are they, 13 again?"
Followed by...
"Are you Team Carrie or Team Taylor?"
Nah, we're not perpetuating the idea of a feud at ALL, now, are we??? <shaking head>
And Tuffy... don't hold back, Sweetie, It's ok, you can tell us how you REALLY feel! (you crack me up sometimes)
