Beyonce's Super Bowl Halftime Performance Was Electrifying (Maybe Even Literally)

OMG 36

Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show was, in a made-up word, famazing. While you may be cheering for the San Francisco 49ers or the Baltimore Ravens, I've been rooting for team Beyonce and if you ask me, she should take home the Lombardi trophy. From her incredible leather onesie to the Destiny's Child throwback songs with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, everything went off without a hitch -- no wardrobe malfunctions, no slips and falls, and for all the Inauguration-performance haters, no lip-syncing, either. I mean, the set list was so electric, I'm sure it's what caused a power-surge that resulted in the Superdome going dark.

It was either Beyonce's fault, or the charged Ravens' offense. Anyway, here's what she sang!

She started out with "Love on Top", then "Crazy in Love", "End of Time", and "Baby Boy." Her Destiny's Child band-mates joined her for "Bootylicious", "Independence Day", and "Survivor" and helped her on her hit "Single Ladies" before leaving the stage for Beyonce to wrap up the performance with the breath-taking "Halo."

Not only did she prove that she can sing live, and sing live flawlessly, she also proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that um, Destiny's Child would be nothing without her.

But other than the somewhat cringe-worthiness of Michelle's "dance" moves, I also wasn't a fan of the kaleidoscope camera shots, if only because after downing a gallon of guac, I was already feeling a little disoriented.

Anyway, Beyonce killed it. She. is. everything. The end.

Did you love Beyonce's halftime performance?

Why do you have to ruin a perfectly good blog, by calling people inauguration haters? I mean, WTF. I was going to comment on how I agreed with you that this was a great performance, but you had to be all nasty.

I actually didn't enjoy it that much, with the exception of Destiny's Child reuniting. I thought there was way too much dancing & not enough singing.

And just so you know, people are not haters just because some of thought she should of sang. And she LIED about it and even posting on her FB page that she didn't lip synced.

I honestly didn't enjoy it that much. I thought there was way too much dancing & special effects & not enough singing. I did enjoy Destiny's Child singing together, though.

Wtf is wrong with her face in this pic

I didnt like it. There was nothing new. Destiny's child has been done for so long. And Beyonce is not as pretty as she thinks she is. I only liked Halo because that showcases how well she sings. But it all felt rushed and it didnt move me. I honestly wouldve preferred Psy. Atleast my kids like him and he gets everyone dancing.

bills, I don't think that Facebook thing was real. I believe it was a fanpage that made that post and circulated it. The give away is that they spelled "lip syncing" "lip singing". That being said, I think everyone should drop it. Iztahk Pearlman , YoYo Ma and Whitney at the Super Bowl all lip sync/pre recorded as well. Let's just let it go.
