See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
Guys. In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof admitted she used a surrogate to carry her twins, Christian and Colin, 6. Yup -- after months of speculation, Adrienne's finally come out of the birth canal closet and revealed that because of complications during her first pregnancy with son Gavin, 9, she and husband Paul Nassif decided to use a surrogate for their next babies. Now, not only is Adrienne admitting the truth, she's still attacking Brandi Glanville and saying that it was her big mouth that ultimately led to the destruction of the Maloof-Nassif family.
Wow. Adrienne cray. Here's what she said.
I would think Brandi, being a single mother, would have a heart and understand my feelings, where I’m coming from ... Brandi took away something so precious from our family ... Brandi did destroy our family.
Lemme get this straight. Because Adrienne's contract allegedly stated that her surrogacy couldn't be talked about on the show, Brandi is somehow responsible for the molehill becoming a mountain? Brandi's comments were edited out, because Adrienne and Paul mandated they had to be, which, in turn, made the secret all the more interesting. Isn't that on Adrienne?
Ms. Maloof treated her surrogacy secret like she was hiding the fact that she was a serial killer or something. Just like those idiots over on The Real Housewives of New Jersey treated stripping like it was equivalent to murder, Adrienne and Paul made their use of a surrogate into something dirty when, in fact, it's anything but.
And sure, I can see why Adrienne wanted to be able to tell her sons herself that they were carried in someone else's belly, but I don't see how Brandi's comments took away that opportunity. Are her first graders watching the show or something? How could they possibly find out if Adrienne didn't want them to?
I just don't get it. We never heard Brandi say Adrienne had a surrogate, yet Adrienne's claiming she destroyed her family with such words.
The fact remains that all Brandi did "wrong" was tell the truth. She didn't ruin anyone's family because let's get real: If your family is so fragile that a factual statement about the origin of your children can break you apart, then divorce was bound to happen at any moment.
It sounds like the only person who isn't OK with Adrienne having used a surrogate is Adrienne. She accused Brandi of "character assassination", which means she thinks Brandi used a deliberate and sustained process aimed to destroy her credibility and reputation. If you ask me, surrogacy is nothing that would destroy anyone's credibility or reputation. It's something that should be celebrated, isn't it?
I wonder when Adrienne signed up to be on one of the most popular reality show franchises if she considered the secrets she had that she allegedly wanted to shield from her children. I'd guess that she didn't.
What do you think of the Brandi, Adrienne feud?
