No more living in denial, Twihards. Time to accept that terrible truth we've been avoiding for months: The Twilight film franchise is over. Forever. I know, I know -- first we had to say goodbye to the books, which was, of course, tragic -- but at least we knew there were more movies in the works. Now that the flicks are finished, too, how are we supposed to get up in the morning?!
Ahem. I wish I could tell you RPattz and KStew just signed on to star in Breaking Dawn Parts 3 through 12, but I can't. I can, however, tell you about 5 upcoming non-Twilight vampire movies totally worth sinking your fangs into.

A dark and twisted tale from the dark and twisted Jim Jarmusch, this highly anticipated vampire/rock n' roll romance gone wrong stars Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton (who already looks like a vampire!).
Directed by Neil Jordan (Interview with a Vampire, hello?) this centuries-spanning story centers around the dysfunctional relationship between mother and daughter vamps Clara and Eleanor (Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan).
This remake has been on and off the table so many times at this point we can't say for sure when -- or if -- it'll hit the big screen, but Joss Whedon says he "can imagine" Sarah Michelle Gellar resuming her TV role (Whedon is NOT directing, last we heard).
A spinoff from Bram Stoker's original novel, 'Demeter' was the name of the ship used to transport Dracula's coffin (sailing was less than smooth, needless to say). Starring Jude Law, with director David Slade at the helm -- yes, the same Slad who directed 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'!
This vampire/western hybrid starring Elizabeth Hurley sadly seems to be languishing in movieland limbo, but the synopsis sure sounds promising: “A broken-down sheriff is forced to join forces with an obsessed Victorian vampire hunter to defeat an undead force threatening a small frontier town in 1892 New Mexico.”
