paul nassifThe nice Paul ...Paul Nassif of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the most mysterious man on the planet, and not in a good way, whatsoever. The rumors about his divorce from wife Adrienne Maloof were vicious and included allegations of domestic abuse, then there was that episode where he got all up in Brandi Glanville's face, and then there's the general, looming feeling that he's got a terrifying dark side under that happy-go-lucky plastic surgeon demeanor. So when he was asked by TMZ what he thought about Adrienne's new relationship with Rod Stewart's son, Sean, who's half her age, no one knew what to expect.

Would he be sarcastic? Cruel? Vindictive?

Nope. Here's what he had to say.

"As long as she's happy, that's all I care about."

Happy whatnow? I'm serious, this man is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or rather Dr. Nassif and Mr. Assifhole. One minute he's a magnificent jerk, the next he's taking the high road, wishing everyone the best.

It's kind of alarming how much this man's personality seems to change. With that in mind, maybe he should ask out Kim Richards -- they'd be a manic match made in heaven.

Anyway, when pressed about whether or not he still listens to Rod Stewart's music, Paul said "of course!" ... but something tells me as soon as they were out of the camera shot, he ripped off his shirt and started tearing apart the Faces box set and setting fire using the car's cigarette lighter to Stewart's lame Christmas album.

Because if there's anything we've learned from RHOBH, you can't take anything Paul says at face value.
