Real Housewives of Orange CountyIt seems like just yesterday Tamra Barney was calling Alexis Bellino a psychotic "Jesus Jugs" on The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. Now, all of a sudden, here it's almost time for them to grace our screens again. That's right, Season 8 of RHOC is set to premiere as early as the end of March.

Gretchen Rossi tweeted the news this week when asked by a fan when they were returning. "End of March," was her reply. Vicki Gunvalson wasn't quite so cut and dry with her answer, but indicated a similar time frame via Twitter: "Season 8 will launch sometime in March/April. It will be another roller coaster ride for everyone! I hope you are ready!"

Oh yes, we're ready -- especially because of who and what we hear we're going to be seeing this season. Talk about drama.

First, and most importantly, Jesus Jugs herself will be back. Hallelujah! For months we've heard that she was booted, chose not to come back, and/or that her husband, Jim Bellino, forbade her to come back. But according to Reality Tea, she's back in. While she is one of the most narcissistic, hypocritical housewives of all time, it really would be sad to see her go, so this is a nice surprise.

Apparently Vicki Gunvalson is also coming back, which isn't all that surprising in and of itself. But what is surprising is that she's reportedly back with the shady Brooks Ayers! Oh Vicki. So that whole relationship should be interesting to watch.

Finally, it looks like there will be a new girl in town. Her name is Lydia Stirling McLaughlin, and you'll never guess who she's pals with -- Lisa Vanderpump from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Small world, huh? Apparently Lydia heads up "Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine", which is the one for which Lisa writes a column. How very interesting it would be if the O.C. and Beverly Hills ladies somehow intertwined. Other than that we know she's an heiress, a business woman, a mother of two, and apparently crazy enough to join this crew.

There's no word yet on cake-bow-eating Sarah Winchester and whether she'll continue with her bizarre bursts into the plot line. My fingers are sort of crossed that she will just to spice things up.

So that's what it's looking like so far. There's been nothing official from Bravo, so things could change, but based on this, it sounds like a pretty promising season.

How excited are you for RHOC to return? Are you surprised Alexis is coming back for another season?
