Kim Kardashian has taken a whole lot of crap for her 72-day marriage. She's been stomped on by comedians everywhere, ridiculed by the tabloids, but hey ... I guess that comes with the territory of being a reality TV star and displaying your wedding for all to see on a two-hour E! special. But the pregnant Dash Doll isn't taking it anymore, as she put down her foot last night on The Late Show With David Letterman, telling Dave, "Those jokes really don't work, because I've really been married for almost two years."
Touché, Kimmy. But I think the comment of the night has to go to sister Kourtney. When asked if the whole thing was fraudulent and for publicity, Kourt replied, "I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew."
HA! I've gotta be honest, I'm finally starting to believe that maybe Kim loved the guy after all. Maybe this wedding, Kim and Kris, it was all real.
Seriously, though, you have to admit that Kourtney has a point. It's the same point I've always had in the back of my mind about Kris Humphries. Sure, some people say that Kim needed to "pick" someone that was not that well-known who would agree to the rise in fame and the glitz. But I don't know, after watching the way she looked at him all throughout that season of Kim and Kourtney Take New York, I was always pretty convinced the marriage was legitimate.
You can see it on Kim's face that now she's in such a good place. There is no arguing in my mind that she does love Kanye and is really, really excited to have his child. Something tells me that when the two of those kiddos get married, they're gonna skip that multimillion-dollar special with E! and all the cameras.

"i've been married for two years" - ok then, i guess you have just been out whoring and gallavanting around during your "marriage" then huh? honestly, why does anyone give two craps about these people? i see comments everywhere that they're overexposed, they don't need to be on tv, and yet the media salivates over them. i just don't get it.
why even get married in the first place nowadays?
fame all the way! :)
