It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ... Honey Boo Boo? The 7-year-old isn't just a pageant queen and reality star anymore. Alana Thompson is now a comic book superhero too. Seriously!
Bluewater Productions has created the digital comic The Sensational New Adventures of Honey Boo Boo ($1.99, www.iTunes.com). In an homage to Wonder Woman, little Alana's character will flit around town saving folks. Apparently the star has dreamed of becoming an animated character for awhile now. "Alana says that if she were cartoon, she could do anything," a source told The Enquirer.
Well, when Bluewater got word, they were happy to make the little girl's dreams come true. “We heard that Alana wanted to be animated and wanted to be a superhero, so we granted that by having her in these iconic covers," publisher Darren G. Davis said.
She's not the only star who's gotten the comic book treatment. Bluewater has also parodied Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian. But I have to say, there is no way those are better than a flying, crime-fighting Honey Boo Boo. You better redneckognize, y'all!
