Prepare yourself for the worst gossip about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom you've probably yet to hear ... According to Life & Style, Khloe "wants to have a baby in hopes of saving her marriage." Dun dun duhhhh. Apparently, the marriage really is in need of "saving" because the couple -- married since 2009 -- "are having issues, even if Khloe doesn't want to own up to it. She's embarrassed that the perfect marriage she preached about isn't so perfect." Aw, tears.
Really, I wouldn't be surprised if these two were "having issues." After all, there's been a lot of buzz about their marriage being on the skids, and usually, where there's smoke, there's fire. (Remember how much buzz there was about Bethenny and Jason before they actually split?) But the idea that Khloe wants to get preggers in order to "trap" Lamar in an unhappy marriage? Geeze, let's hope that's total bunk, right?!
Because, wow, if it isn't, then what in the world is she thinking?!
More from The Stir: Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom May Be Headed for Divorce Court
I know feeling like your marriage is falling apart -- let alone wanting to look in love and happy and normal when the paparazzi cameras are flashing and your career at least partially hinges on your marriage, because you and your DH have your very own reality TV show -- could make people do crazy things. Things completely out of character or that you wouldn't do if you weren't feeling desperate and terrified. But I'll just go ahead and say it: Getting pregnant is never the solution to a failing relationship. Babies are not Band-Aids!
Fingers crossed this is ridiculous mishigas made-up to sell tabloids. Because I was really starting to think Khloe was the "sane" Kardashian sister ... and if there's even a grain of truth to this, we might as well write the whole family off as certifiable.
Do you buy this? How do you feel about couples using babies as Band-Aids to save their failing relationships?
