tina fey amy poehlerI haven't been excited about an awards show, any awards show, at all, since junior high when it was everything to watch the MTV Movie Awards in your friend's parents' basement, but that all changed when it was announced Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would be hosting the 2013 Golden Globes. In a little over two weeks (the show's on January 13), our girls Tina and Amy will kick the shit out of the "sloppy, loud party" that is this annual celebration of pretty people on TV and in movies.

How am I so sure they're going to kill it? Check this out.

In this promo video, Tina (and her golden globes) and Amy (with her golden globes covered in golden globey fabric) talk about meeting Angelina Jolie for the first time, discuss how awesome it would be to win Best Picture, like, not for a movie, just for being yourself, and predict that Avatar, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, will sweep this year's awards.

(Mom and Dad, that's funny because Avatar came out in 2009 and because Daniel Day-Lewis was not in the movie. They're being sarcastic! It's hilarious.)
