Bradley Cooper, who's dated many Hollywood starlets from Renee Zellweger to Olivia Wilde and even JLo, has reportedly suffered a breakup with his latest lady love, Zoe Saldana ... for the second time! Seriously, I thought this one was going to stick. They seemed so happy. (Well, who doesn't in the initial stages, and it seems that's about as far as they got ...) According to Page Six, the couple, who had been dating off and on since late last year, split over the holidays. A source reports, "Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe. They were all going to Paris, but things didn't work out between them. Zoe spent New Year's Eve with friends in Miami." Bummer ...
I don't get it. The guy seems like such a catch, right? He's drop dead handsome, is trained as a legit, serious actor, and even SPEAKS FLUENT FRENCH! You'd think that would mean he'd have skillz in the relationship department, but I guess not.
Although I guess I'd like to peg him as a Justin Timberlake-y or Ryan Reynolds-ish type -- totally capable of snagging any Hollywood hottie of his choosing but ultimately preferring to find The One and settle down -- maybe he fancies himself a neo-George Clooney or Leonardo DiCaprio? Maybe he just doesn't have any desire to put a ring on anyone? Granted, he was married once before ... to actress Jennifer Esposito. But that only lasted four months!
More from The Stir: Bradley Cooper’s Extreme Hotness Is Killing His Relationship
Could it be that Bradley Cooper, despite being a Dream Guy in all other ways, is totally emotionally stunted? What a disappointment! Okay, so maybe we shouldn't care. Maybe it's enough for him to be sexy Hangover, Francophilic eye candy, but meh. As hot as they are, there's something about guys like Clooney and DiCaprio that's such a turnoff. I get that they may just not be the "marrying kind," but A-list men who are in committed, serious, long-term, happy relationships (i.e. Ryan Reynolds, JT, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Judd Apatow) are even hotter. At least to me.
Is Bradley Cooper's relationship track record a turnoff or do you still think he's dreamy?
