Anyone who was convinced that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were going to quietly -- or not so quietly -- finally, officially call it quits as soon as Breaking Dawn: Part 2 fervor began to die down is probably feeling a wee bit silly right now. Because it seems like the pair is going strong. Maybe even stronger than ever. At least, that's what you might conclude from the latest gossip about how the two are spending their holidays.
Someone "close to the situation," you might say, tells Perez Hilton that the Twilight lovebirds "had a small, intimate Christmas tree decorating party on Sunday. They have a gorgeous tree set up at Kristen's where Rob pretty much lives now. Kristen was really happy to be back home and be with Rob. They want to spend as much time as possible together before Rob leaves in January to film his next movie." Awww! See, total proof that they could really be built to last!
No, seriously! After all, if what the insider says is true, being comfortable at home together is a fantastic sign that things are actually back on -- and solid and secure -- between them. If the report was that they'd been seen at another concert or another Hollywood bar/lounge, hanging out as part of a group, I wouldn't be so convinced. But come on, who throws a "small intimate Christmas tree decorating party" and is spied basically just laying low with someone they can't stand being around?!
Err ... well, okay, on a second thought, plenty of us attempt to keep things at least appearing "merry and light" around the holidays, even when we're not truly feeling that way. So yeah, they may be carrying on an act, pulling the wool over our eyes just a little bit longer. Bummer. Guess we'll just have to wait to see if they're still this cozy this time next year, when there are absolutely no box office numbers hinging on their off-screen love story.
Do you think these signs point to Rob and Kristen being totally patched up?
