Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart’s Plans to Spend Christmas Apart Are a Bad Sign

OMG 32

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart

Uh oh, folks. It looks like there really might be trouble brewing in paradise, because apparently Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are spending Christmas apart this year -- as in very, very far apart.

According to an insider who talked to Heat magazine, things between KStew and Rob's family weren't exactly lovey-dovey, let alone even friendly, around the Thanksgiving table this year.

And that's why Rob and Kristen have supposedly altered their initial plans to be together for Christmas. (Actually, she basically got booted out of the family celebration.)

The source says:

Rob's mum wanted him to spend Christmas with them in London and, before their trip to the UK, that had been his and Kristen's Plan. From London, they were going to fly to Mexico for New Year but that’s all changed now. Rob's family made it clear that they really want to see him over Christmas and, after the intense promotional tour for Twilight, Rob liked the idea of spending time alone with his family.

And there you have it. Rob will be getting back to his roots and enjoying some well-deserved downtime across the pond with the fam, and Kristen will be, well -- not with him.

I guess it's safe to assume that she'll be back in the states splitting her time in between both of her parents' homes, but wherever she is, she'll still be literally an ocean away from Rob.

And if this report is true and Kristen and Rob really are separating for the holidays, a breakup (and this time a final one) is inevitable in 2013 for sure.

First of all, it sounds like Rob's family already disapproves of him being back together with KStew, so it's highly likely that they'll spend the better part of his visit trying to convince him that he's better off without her and to kick her to the curb once and for all.

Second, if he's ready and willing to head to England without her for Christmas, odds are good that things between them are already starting to fall apart. Most couples who have been together as long as they have spend major holidays together, so choosing to be on separate continents is pretty much a dead giveaway that they're headed for splitsville.

Huh. It's pretty interesting how things between them really started to fizzle out right after they were finished promoting Breaking Dawn Part 2. It almost makes you wonder if their reconciliation wasn't a real reconciliation at all -- or maybe the whole cheating scandal was no biggie because they weren't a real couple in the first place, and so on and so forth. (Nah, that just can't be.)

Do you think the end is near for Kristen and Rob?

Well they're clearly not in the can't get enough of each other,   nothing can keep us apart,  etc. ,  phase.  If the relationship were progressing toward any deep commitment you'd expect that they'd be trying to resolve or deal with family discord not run from it.

OR maybe they just want private time and everything that is being reported is a hoax to keep the papz out of their faces. Either way, if I were Rob and I were at home with my family the last thing I would want to hear about would be how I should live my life the whole time. He is a grown man, he should be able to make his own decisions about who he is with and how he spends his free time.

I don't think it means they are going to split, they are taking it slowly and this absence from each other might make then grow closer or fonder as the saying says. I wish people would stop thinking they know what they are going to end up doing, I personally am happy for them because they want to try, if they didn't they'd never know if they could make it work. And articles like this make me depressed, even married couples spend some holidays apart occasionally. That don't mean anything is wrong. Stop making assumptions it ruins it for others who what it to work out for them.

The Family needs to get over it.  Rob should do what he wants to do. They're not the ones dating or in the relationship with Kristen.  So whatever !!!!

Last I heard all was well with the family. These are all lies... They know nothing. Even the good news is lies. Just let it go! No one knows what is going on between them. Just gossip mags stirring up trouble.

Honestly, as entertaining as celebrity love stories can be, i have enough going on in my own life without having to make assumptions on what is going to happen in theirs! Good luck to all of them though!

Or maybe people are spending wayyyyyy too much time analyzing the relationship of a couple of kids...  amazing how many "sources" come out with all these stories, about everyone really.  It's bordering on annoying as hell.

For the millionth time THEY DON'T CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING IN ENGLAND so there was no Thanksgiving table to have a problem with. Did it occur to anyone that with her parents splitting up Kristen would want to spend time with them? Uuhhh!
