Growing up, getting a great teacher was like winning the lottery. Instead of students dreading going to class and hating homework, there’s a whole new level of appreciation for the learning process because of this one fantastic individual. On Glee, Mr. Schuester, played by Matthew Morrison, is that excellent teacher. He’s a man the kids at McKinley High look up to and, as we've seen with Finn, someone they can always turn to whether they’re still in glee club or not. And hey -- it doesn’t hurt that he’s one studly specimen with an excellent voice!
“Who cares what happens when we get there, when the getting there has been so much fun?”
“Don't lose track of who you are just because it might be easier to be somebody else.”
“Life really has only one beginning and one end. The rest is just a whole lot of middle.”
“It's not the broken dreams that break us. It's the ones we don't dare to dream.”
“To be a teacher is to offer students a gateway to the future.”
"Glee is supposed to be about what's in your heart, not what's coursing through your veins."
"Sometimes being special sucks."
“It takes years to build a good reputation, and only seconds to destroy it.”
“The best teachers don’t give you the answers. They just point the way and let you make your own choices, your own mistakes. That way you get all the glory, and you deserve it.”
"I give my kids a voice. I just don't let them run it free. I'm a teacher. It's my job to know more than they do."
