Hey y'all, Honey Boo Boo may be suffering from the croup (an awesome, barking cough), but it's not stopping her from getting in the generous, gift-giving spirit. Today, the family announced on their Facebook page the dates that TLC will start airing their holiday specials. Yes, that's right, our prayers have been answered. There will be a Honey Boo Boo Halloween special, a Honey Boo Boo Thanksgiving special, and a Honey Boo Boo Christmas special heading our way any day now. Set your DVRs for ...
Sunday, January 6, 2013, at 9 p.m./8 central on TLC.
Seems a little, uh, late, doesn't it? A Halloween special on January 6 is like Christmas in July. It just doesn't make sense. And, assuming these specials are aired a week apart, a Turkey Day themed episode on January 13 and a Christmas episode on January 20 just seems odd.
But odd is what the Honey Boo Boo clan does best, so who am I to judge? They march to the beat of their own, redneck drummer and probably shun things like "calendars" and "timely programming."
Everyone, including m'self, just needs to redneckinize that these specials are gonna be hella late, OK? OK. Cool.
Looking forward to the Honey Boo Boo specials?
