Ok, so they've been over for like, forever, and pretty much everyone is wondering why in the heck they haven't "officially" split yet, and now there are rumors that Demi Moore is delaying her divorce from Ashton Kutcher for a very specific reason.
Yep, you guessed it -- she's all bent out of shape about Ashton's blossoming romance with Mila Kunis, and she isn't about to let him ride off into the sunset with his That 70's Show co-star just yet. (Lame.)
According to a source who talked to RadarOnline, "Demi has instructed her attorneys to delay negotiations as much as possible." -- presumably because she wants to make it harder and harder for Ashton and Mila to take their courtship to the next level.
And if Demi's primary motive in dragging out the divorice is to piss off Ashton and Mila, it sounds as though she's accomplished her mission.
The same source said, "It's driving Ashton nuts as he just wants to close that chapter of his life and move on, he and Mila are VERY serious about each other and although another marriage isn't going to happen immediately it is definitely something both Ashton and Mila have discussed and believe is in their future."
Gah. It must really suck to want to tie the knot with your new girlfriend all while knowing your wife is doing everything in her power to prevent that from happening. (What a drag.)
Ok, so when they first split, I felt kinda bad for Demi, because Ashton was reportedly cheating on her and it appeared as though the age difference between them finally caught up with her and he basically wanted to trade her in for a younger version of herself.
But if this rumor is true and she really is doing everything she can to avoid letting this divorce happen, it's really kind of pathetic. It's highly obvious that Ashton doesn't want to be with her anymore, so if she's smart, she'll get the darn papers signed as quickly as possible so she too, can move on with her life.
If she really wants to get revenge on Ashton, then she'll act like the divorce doesn't bother her one bit and say "good riddance!" once and for all. There's no bigger bruise to a man's ego than a woman who knows she's MUCH better off without him.
Do you really think Demi is dragging out this divorce, or are there other reasons it's not final yet?
