Lindsay Lohan Refuses to Meet Her New Baby Half-Sister (VIDEO)

Doesn't look like Lindsay Lohan is planning to welcome her new sibling with open arms. According to TMZ, the Liz & Dick star doesn't ever want to meet her 17-year-old half sister Ashley.

To be fair, the whole situation must have come as a surprise to Lindsay. During a sitdown on Good Morning America, she was hit with the news that her father Michael Lohan fathered a child with another woman (Kristi Horn) while he was married to her mother Dina. Not that MiLo was going to win any father of the year awards, but this solidifies his status as one bad dad. So how does Ashley feel about this whole sordid mess?

It was clear when the DNA test results were read on the Trisha Goddard show that she is leery of Michael -- as she should be. She didn't even want to hug him when he approached her, which I totally understand. Here is a man who has denied her her entire life. He has a lot to make up for. Though I wouldn't be surprised if she's more than a bit hurt by Lindsay's rejection. Ashley, after all, is an innocent victim. She certainly didn't ask to be Michael's daughter and -- to be quite honest -- doesn't exactly look that happy about it.

Shockingly, it appears Michael has dreams of some big family reunion. "I am sorry to hear Lindsay feels that way. I met Ashley and she is a good kid. But we all have our choices to make in life, as well as our own prerogatives. Who knows, maybe someday things will change. Regardless, I want the best for all my kids." Keep dreaming!

If she's lucky, Ashley will realize that she is probably better off without that entire, headline-grabbing clan. Think about it. The Lohans aren't exactly famous for a brood of happy, well-adjusted kids. Of course Lindsay isn't the only one -- she's just the most famous and, it seems, the most troubled. And those parents are embarrassing them at every turn. I say young Ashley is better off without them right now. This mean-girl snub might be the best thing for her sanity.

Should Lindsay be more accepting of Ashley? Do you think Ashley should avoid the Lohans?
