Courtney Robertson Ben Flajnik

He must really want to clear the air before starting his new reality show, because former Bachelor Ben Flajnik has finally thrown Courtney Robertson under the bus and admitted that he now understands why all of the women in the house (not to mention most of America) absolutely hated her during his season. (Geez! Took him long enough!)

Ben told Life & Style:

I should apologize to all those women and say, "Sorry I didn’t see it." I really have lost all respect for this person that I thought I knew and that I was in love with at one point. She just had me fooled. I talk to my friends all the time and they’re like, "Maybe she was just really good at it. She got all of us fooled, too, Ben. You weren’t the only one."

Ouch. Looks like things are gettin' pretty darn ugly between Ben and Court.

Courtney hasn't been the least bit shy about talking to the media about how mean Ben was to her, how she was brainwashed into falling in love with him, insert your version of the pity party for Courtney here.

And while it's obvious that Ben wanted to get his two cents in and fire back at her, he did it in a way that makes it pretty impossible to label him the bad guy.

He could've easily resorted to nasty name calling, or labeling her a liar, or some other way of demeaning her, but instead, he simply said he was "fooled," which is basically a really polite way of saying the minute she stripped off her clothes and went skinny dipping -- he was hooked.

Sorry Court, but it looks like Ben has the last laugh here, which is probably what he was after when he gave that interview anyway. (Smart dude.)

Who do you think is the bad guy -- Ben or Courtney?
