Don't think Channing Tatum should have been named People's Sexiest Man Alive? Take it up with Jonah Hill. Hill, who starred with Tatum in 21 Jump Street, is so pleased with the mag's Sexiest Man decision that he posted a photo of himself (practically) licking the cover, along with the message: "@channingtatum you've always been the sexiest man alive to me! (Congrats pal!)."

I definitely don't think Channing Tatum is the sexiest man alive (I know, controversial), but for some reason, having Jonah Hill endorse him makes me kind of get People's decision.

I never thought Channing Tatum was hot. Still don't, to be honest. Although, full disclosure, if I met him, it might be another story. (Never thought Brad Pitt was hot until he walked by me in his Ocean's 11 clothing.) Up until fairly recently, I actually thought his name was Tatum Channing. And I often got him confused with Chris Hemsworth. Or was it Liam Hemsworth? I don't know. Point is, I really didn't think much of him at all.

But then I saw 21 Jump Street. And I realized: Dude is actually pretty funny. That scene where he and Jonah Hill go into a bathroom stall and finger each other's throats to try to make themselves vomit? Fantastic. And then I learned he was a dancer, also. (Typically, I'm five years behind the times.) I was like, "Ohhhh, this guy isn't just some beefcake with panty-peeling abs. He, like, legitimately has some talents."

Seeing Jonah's tweet reminded me of this. Of all the great things Tatum Channing has brought our country, the great things he's brought American cinema. He may not be Ryan Gosling when it comes to looks/brains/acting skills/singing or sense of humor. But he's really funny when he sticks his fingers down Jonah Hill's throat.
