Bachelorette Emily Maynard and her fiance Jef Holm just can't seem to get back to living "private lives." My guess is they wouldn't have it any other way. The latest scandal is that Jef's family was polygamous and Jef's sister just posted an angry rant on Webstagram expressing her disgust.
Ever since Emily chose Jef as her man, it has been a non-stop paparazzi love fest for these two. Whether it was positive -- Jef hearts Emily 4EVA! -- or negative -- all the cheating rumors -- we just can't seem to get enough of these two.
Sadly, it seems even Jef's family has jumped into the mess. Of course, who are we kidding? These people are loving every second. Jef's sister Julie Holm jumped to her family's defense with:
This is my family. We're Mormon. Not FLDS. Two COMPLETELY different religions. You can not help what you're born into. How sad it is that our family and our beliefs have been exploited by the media in such a negative way. I don't know how someone could do this to our family. My mom and dad raised us Mormon. And I can not imagine being raised any other way. We do NOT practice polygamy! We believe in being married to one person for time and all eternity. Our church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. LDS not FLDS. We are Christians. I am so grateful to be apart of my family. I have the best family in the world! We love and support @jefholm @emilygmaynard! @lholm14 @steveholm @jaimeleeholm @mikeholmstg @candiceholm @melharrison4 @stephholm4 Oh and ..... Mitt Romney 2012 haha
Awesome. So Jef's sister wants to make sure she uses her platform to get her name out there. Oh, and also: vote for Romney! I can't be the only one who is grossed out by this.
First Jef's brother rats out Emily's cheating and now his sister has jumped on the defense of her brother.
It truly seems like everyone in this family is just dying to get their 15 minutes of fame no matter how it comes. So great. Jef's family members only have one wife each.
But let's say, for argument's sake, that there was some polygamy action going on here, wouldn't it make sense then that Jef would tolerate The Bachelorette better than others? It's like he was a born winner on a show about one girl dating 25 men.
Do you think Jef's family are fame whores?
