I am thankful this holiday for two reasons, Grace and Kate. The girls are a gift and the joy of my life. But Grace and Kate teach me something new everyday and my daughters have made me a better person. By seeing the world through my children's eyes, I have learned to appreciate the small miracles in life.
My daughters have taught me to be thankful for:
Snow-I forgot how magical snow is for children. As an adult, snow becomes something to drive through and shovel from the sidewalk. My girls taught me to appreciate the fun of a snow storm.
Beautiful Sunsets-My children taught me to pause and appreciate the beauty of a sunset.
Ladybugs-I grew up and forgot about the magic of ladybugs. But my wise children taught me to appreciate even the littlest ladybug.
Children are so wise and they teach parents as much as we teach them! It is one of the best things about being a mom.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for a number of blessings in my life. I am very thankful to be able to work here at CafeMom! The people I work with are amazing and I've met so many cool women here in this community!
