revenge season 2You guys, Revenge is back! Yay, second season, finally! So where'd we leave off? Oh yeah, Victoria got on a plane and the plane crashed, along with all the evidence needed to convict Conrad Grayson. Dang! Looks like Conrad was the one behind the crash. Meanwhile, it looks like Emily and Daniel are kaput. And Amanda shows up on Jack's doorstep pregnant. I guess Jack's the father? Naaah, probably not!

A few months later and Amanda is pretty close to term. Ashley has moved in on Daniel, of course. Nolan is trying to move in with Emily. Charlotte is just about to check out of rehab. And what is Emily doing tied up to a pier under a pier? Do I really need to say it? SPOILERS AHEAD!

So now we get to the root of Emily's rumored break with Mr. Takeda. Emily is back in training with him -- but she suspects he knows something about her mother, who we see in flashbacks in a psychiatric ward. Hm. Meanwhile, there's some sexy new guy Mr. Takeda has put on Emily watch -- he's supposed to keep Emily "on mission," whatever that is. Looking forward to spending time with this guy.

Is anyone else wondering: What's in it for Mr. Takeda? Why is he involved in this story, and what's his stake? What's the potential outcome for him? What's his motivation? For someone with such a small role in this show, he sure seems to hold a lot of power over Emily.

Meanwhile, Nolan is butching up. Shorter hair, boxing lessons ... why, I hardly recognize him. Oh wait, but he still shows up in his snazzy haute preppy duds and snarky asides. Oh Nolan, nice to have you back. Never change! No, I mean it. He adds just the right campy lightness and I can't imagine Revenge without him.

Okay, so as far as everyone knows, Victoria is dead, right? And Emily is starting to piece together that Victoria did her mother in the same way she did in her father. Gosh, if only Victoria were still around ...

Which brings us to Charlotte, almost ready to finally leave rehab, provided her blood test comes clean. No surprise that when she spontaneously speaks at her mother's "tribute" art auction, her father calls in her doctor, who conveniently announces that Charlotte still has drugs in her system and needs to be locked up -- I mean re-admitted -- again.

But before they whisk her away, Charlotte tells Emily where Victoria (alive and well, just like we knew she would be!) is located. Time for Emily to pay a little visit and leave behind our newest star, the "Clam Cam."

Guess who else I've missed? The White Haired Guy! Sure as shit, he shows up at Victoria's place and Victoria sicks him on Emily. "Let them," Emily says. This is me rubbing my hands together, looking forward to next week's confrontation.

Meanwhile, Jack doesn't really love Amanda! By the end of the episode, he's finally staring to question the paternity of the baby! And so Amanda says she'll make an appointment for a test, but of course she will find a way to fake the results! How much do I love this show?!? Oh Revenge, it's sooo good to have you back again.
