real housewives of miamiI'm gonna be honest here, I'm still on the fence about The Real Housewives of Miami. It's definitely an improvement from last year -- and each week seems to be getting a bit better -- but, I don't know, there's just something ... not very captivating about this cast. But anyway, that said, let's discuss tonight's episode. And by "tonight's episode," I mean Joanna's drunken outburst at da club, and Adriana's blatant flirting with Roman at da club. What the hell?

Okay, so you're Adriana. And you're beautiful. And you "speak five languages, but your true language is independence." Why do you unabashedly flirt with your "friend's" fiance at the 10-year anniversary of his club? In front of your other friend? On camera?! Not cool, Adriana, seriously not cool. And, hi, aren't you in a committed relationship yourself? Didn't you just request of your fiance that the yacht he bought you fit a baby grand piano? Roman's an attractive man, what with his Frenchness and his owning a successful club, but show some restraint.

And then we have Joanna. Another beautiful specimen inhabiting Miami. She had a drunken outburst. Correction, a "drunken outburst." Am I the only one who was expecting more from this? The way Bravo previewed this last week -- and kept previewing it during the show -- it looked like all Joanna hell was going to break loose. (And they definitely edited it to make it look like the fight was with Roman.) In reality, that whole nonsense was probably, like, 30 seconds of the night, yet it was billed as the main storyline of the episode. And it was almost as if she did it to add some drama to an otherwise uneventful night.

So, yeah, the jury's still out on RHOM for me. I just feel like everyone's trying too hard on this show. The drama doesn't seem genuine. And, let's be honest here, the drama -- real or fake -- is fairly lackluster. I'll give it a few more eps, but after that, I think I'm jumping ship.
