The insanity that is Amanda Bynes' life continues to rage on. The latest: the pseudo-retired actress is now reportedly facing not one, but TWO charges of driving on a suspended license, related to the incident last weekend when she was pulled over outside the Burbank Airport and her car was impounded. You'd guess her license was likely suspended (on August 25!) due to run-ins with upward of five cars over the past year or her arrest on suspicion of DUI, right? Nope! The California DMV pulled it for unpaid tickets and multiple failures to show up for court to answer for them. Agghh.
So, let's break this down. For her two hit-and-run charges, Bynes is due in court next week. For her DUI charge, Bynes is will face a judge on October 29. And for these two charges of driving on a suspended license, she could get a max sentence of 6 months in jail for each offense. Yes, with the J-word now being a possibility, it might be time for an intervention of some sort, eh?
Radar Online reports that Amanda's parents are deeply concerned about her bizarre behavior but she has cut off all contact with them. At the same time, they're reportedly attempting to move to California to support her. Well, I sure hope so!
Given the various charges and nonstop issues Bynes seems to be having, there's no doubt that she's lacking a support system. Whether she's dealing with mental illness, drug use, or emotional distress, she clearly needs people who genuinely care about her to intervene. Think about it. Who is she surrounded by right now that she's managed to get into all this trouble? Clearly no one who is truly looking out for her.
Don't get me wrong. It actually strikes me as totally crazy how many spectators have been jumping to the extreme conclusion that Bynes needs to be placed under a conservatorship -- even temporarily -- a la Britney Spears. I'm not sure that's necessarily the answer. But it definitely seems imperative that she have loved ones around her now who can help her begin "steering" (heh heh) a better course.

Could it be related to when she announced via twitter that she was retiring and people said - who? Appx 2 days later she announced a return to acting and the crazy started. Seems to me a case of someone trying desperately to get noticed again.
No, celebrities don't get special treatment.
I'm not sure you can call her parents "loved ones" that need to be around her when she has cut all ties with them. I'm sure there's a reason for that, and forcing them to be around her would most likely make all of her issues worse. I do feel a little sorry for her, but come on, hit and runs and DUIs are 100% avoidable (don't leave the scene) and 100% her decision.
No. I think she is doing all of this for the attention.
