Alexander SkarsgardHis name has definitely come up a time or two in regards to who will wind up being cast as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and now True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard has hinted that he's kind of into the whole erotic film thing. (Can you blame him? Fifty Shades is pretty much the hottest topic in Hollywood right now.)

He said something in the past about not having read the books, but who cares? It's not like there isn't plenty of time for him to sink his teeth into the series before movie filming starts, right?

Ok, ok -- I'll cut to the chase and quit the teasing, because apparently Fifty Shades of Grey isn't the erotic film adaptation that Alexander is most interested in. Nope. he wants to play a much more scandalous character than Christian Grey -- the leading male role in Lolita.

Yes, Lolita -- as in the story of a 12-year-old girl who winds up entering into a sexual relationship with her stepdad. (So messed up.)

He recently told The New York Times, "Lolita is one of my favorite novels. But there’s already two special film versions of that, so ..."

Um, yeah. Lolita has already been done, but aside from that, portraying a creepy old man who gets his kicks by bedding his tween stepdaughter and nabbing the role of a sexy businessman who happens to like it a bit rough in between the sheets is kind of a sharp contrast.

While there's no doubt Alexander would be well received as Christian Grey, somehow I'm not so sure the whole pedophile thing will work in his favor. Be honest -- would you be able to look at him in the same way if you had images in your mind of him seducing a 12-year-old? (Gross.)
