Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale wants to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie -- and she isn't being shy about her interest in landing the role. Actually she's been talking about it for quite some time. A few months ago, Lucy even said it would be "freakin' awesome" to be cast in the highly coveted part.

She's featured in the newest issue of Haute Muse magazine, and when she was asked about the possibility of starring in the film, she said, "I’m definitely a huge fan of the books. Obviously I’d be thrilled to be a part of it." Huh. Definitely a toned down response from the enthusiastic one she originally gave, but she's obviously still interested.

Plenty of actresses names are being thrown around as contenders for Ana's part -- but it's pretty hard to ignore that Lucy fits the physical description of Anastasia Steele perfectly. The hair, the eyes, the seemingly innocent face -- she really has everything the actress who lands the role needs to accurately portray an impressionable submissive on the big screen. (And hopefully her lip biting skills are up to par too.)
