When asked by a fan via Twitter if all three books in her steamy trilogy would be condensed into one film, E.L. James responded, "Three films hopefully :)," confirming that fans have quite a lot of movie-going to look forward to! But wait, that's not even the half of it...

Rumor has it there may actually end up being a fourth film. And not necessarily because Universal will play it like Warner Bros. played Harry Potter by splitting Fifty Shades Freed into two films. Instead, James may very well be working on ... a fourth book in the series! OMG.

The scoop: Oh No They Didn't! reported that a rep was speaking to gathered Fifty Shades fans. He then whispered to some fans that "something exciting" is going to happen, and there will be a fourth Fifty Shades novel, something that the rep said she just "threw it to her publisher." He also revealed he read the first five pages. Whoa!

Whether or not this is the book re-written from Christian's perspective remains to be seen, but I'm not sure anyone would have a case for there being a fourth film if it was just that ... Rumored details being what they are, it sounds more like this may be a continuation of the story, picking up where Freed left off.

Yup, an exploration of Ana and Christian's married-with-kids life! Now, how would THAT be for "mommy porn"? James might be able to woo audiences all over again by making the point that people who are married adults who have two children and a plethora of responsibilities between them can still make time for incredibly hot sex. Pretty sure that would sell like hot cakes. Then again, anything she writes next is bound to, eh?
