Hey, remember that time Kim Kardashian said she wanted to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? And then remember that time, a short while later, when the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told her to get a real job then come talk to them? That was fun. Also, that actually happened.
When the Chamber of Commerce got wind of Kim's komments (never gets old!), they, weirdly, made a statement to Hollyscoop, saying: "She has not been nominated. She is a reality star. We don't do reality stars. She needs to get a real acting job then come to us."
Ouch, Kim. Ya burnt!
There's no denying that Kim and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan have changed the face of entertainment. Seriously, try to deny it -- impossible! But letting it be known that she'd like a star on the famed strip -- where people like Steven Spielberg and Bugs Bunny have been immortalized -- is a getting a wee bit out of touch.
However, if we're going to split hairs here, Kim has acted before -- like, real acting, not just reality TV acting. She's been on the Lifetime show Drop Dead Diva; she channeled Meryl Streep in boyfriend Kanye West's video for "I Wish You Could/Would"; and she just finished filming Tyler Perry's The Marriage Counselor -- which just might merit a star, if not an Oscar. See? Real acting jobs abound for Kim.
So, I guess you're going to have to be a little more specific with what you mean, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. 'Cause I've gotta be honest, right now I'm taking this as "she needs to get a real acting job -- and be good at it -- then come talk to us."

You are taking her comments out of context. She said it's a goal of hers that she'd like to get one, she said she knows she's not a singer or actress but she still has a future ahead of her, geez give the girl a break.

Personally,I don't like any of them. No, not Evan one of them. They have absolutely no class at all. All they have is money,and that does,t buy class. It may buy the luxury's of life, but nothing that is really important. In fact, that money has a way of buying them all kind of trouble!!! Don't you think?
