Snooki & Jionni LaValleThe big day has finally come, and Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, of Jersey Shore fame has given birth to a healthy baby boy -- little Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. Pickle juice shots for everyone! Thank goodness we've had months to prepare and get used to the idea of the hard-partying, self-proclaimed Guidette becoming an actual mother, because it's a pretty odd idea to get used to for sure.

Well wishes from her fellow Jersey Shore cast and fans have been pouring in for Snooks and her fiance, Jionni LaValle via Twitter. There are also plenty of others out there who are tweeting their dismay about her new role as a mother.

Ronnie Margo was immediate concerned about the baby's footwear: " & make sure you Get me the baby shoe size, start dressing him in some ASAP!! Congratulations! "

Reaction from her girls was sweet. From Deena Cortese: "Congratulations meatball ! @ and@JLaValle love you both! <3 I can't wait to see him!!!" Sammi Giancola tweeted, ""Congrats @snooki !!!!! So happy for you."

Others weren't quite as kind. Here's a sampling of the quips and jokes going around:

Iam SO IN LOVEwith my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD!♥

And a few hours later:

Being a mom is an amazing feeling!!! I love my little man to death! Jionni is such a cute dad.

Awww, congratulations to the newly expanded little family. I'm happy for them. I've said it before (much to my own surprise), but I think they're going to be great parents no matter how funny anyone finds it.
