Here's a paradigm shift I never saw coming. When Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson, Twihards were left reeling, none perhaps more so that NuttyMadam on YouTube. Real name Emma Clark, she shot to viral stardom after posting a video questioning how KStew could do such a thing to our beloved RPattz, complete with tears of anger, sadness, denial, and disbelief. I watched the video, and like most people, I thought she was off her Twilight rocker. Now, I see things differently.
Emma Clark gave an interview to Vice and brings to the forefront the human face behind the vampire craze. You can't help but have a new perspective after watching it.
Emma explains that the Twilight franchise gave her a social life; it gave her a group of friends and it allowed her to have shared interests with people -- something she's never had before. It's hard to look at her now and think she's nuts to care so much about the Robsten scandal when it's clear how much the movies have influenced and changed her life for the better.
She goes on to say the vitality that Twilight has allowed her to have is refreshing, and brilliant, and over the course of the four-minute video, you start to realize that the cheating is relevant and meaningful to Emma. It signifies an end of something that's wonderfully transformed her. To that point, she's also posted videos about how nervous and scared she is for the uncertainty that will come after Breaking Dawn Part 2 is out of theaters.
The finale of Robert and Kristen, of Bella and Edward, is evidence of the end of a life, probably, that Emma's built and loved. The movies, the books, the cheating, it means a lot to her, and it's totally OK that it does.
Wonder how Kristen would respond.
Did this interview make you see Twihards in a different light?

It's all still so very creepy to me how anyone can be obsessed with someone they don't know. Even worse are the people that can't admit that they really don't know the focus of their obsessions, they only know how they're portrayed by the media & other people.
I have a group of friends that I met online & we share one common thing...TWILIGHT! We are a close group & we have even traveled to meet each other. We have our own group on Facebook where we keep in touch. We know all about each others lives, husbands, kids, etc....if it weren't for Twilight, I never would have met this wonderful group of ladies. If you don't like Twilight, Rob, Kristen, etc...fine, but don't down those of us that do. Being a Twi hard is an honor....it has brought thousands of people around the world together. It's not about the vampires...it's about an everlasting love...something that EVERYONE wants in their lives.
Well I thimk that its awesome that she is a twi-hard fan not many out there. For the other comments just b/c ur legs are wide open and ur mouth is full of crap doesnt make u any better obviously if ur on here posting crap about ppl u dont have a life niether so i suggest u just not critize other ppl. But anyways I love twilight I have a disorder where i do NOT leave my house and it is a medical condition so when I found twilight I was happy i had something that entertained me. When I found out about Kristen and Robert yes it was sad but its not my buisness but Hopefully they will keep doing twilight
I consider myself a "Twi-Hard" but I'm nowhere to THIS extent.
This should be an indication to her that she needs to get out more and -- as callous as this may sound -- to get a life. A REAL one, not a fantasy.
It's great that she has found friends, but she's still obsessing and that's never healthy.
Seriously....this woman needs a life
