If you can believe it, there actually is one person (who's not affiliated with Us Weekly) who's making out like a bandit in this whole Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders cheating scandal: Chris Hemsworth. How? I'll explain.
The sequel to the poorly-reviewed movie that got everyone into this mess, Snow White and the Huntsman, has apparently gotten the green light. However, Kristin Stewart's character -- Snow White -- has not. However, Rupert Sanders -- the father of two who cheated on his wife -- is rumored to be directing again. The movie is supposedly going to be retooled to now focus on The Huntsman, Chris Hemsworth, instead of Snow White. So ... yay, Chris?
According to reports, Kristen was never technically attached to the sequel in the first place, so saying she was dropped or "not asked back" isn't quite true. But, let's be honest, if she was never caught kissing the director, she probably would have been. It isn't really commonplace to not have the star of the movie in the sequel -- especially when the star has said that a sequel would be "awesome." The writer, David Koepp, is supposedly being replaced, as well.
Both Kristen and Rupert screwed up big time. Rupert probably more than Kristen, being that he's 41 and has kids. So, why ostracize Kristen instead of Sanders? I mean, he too was guilty of cheating. It seems a little unfair to screw one person out of the film and not the other. We don't have all the details of what's going on with the sequel, but if any of this is true, seems like a bit of a double standard.
But, again, things really worked out for Chris. So, good for him. Why shouldn't they, right? He didn't do anything wrong.
Do you think Kristen should do the Snow White sequel?

Sarcasm alert! Maybe everyone is dumping on Ms. Stewart because as a woman, it was her responsibility to make sure Mr. Sanders didn't cheat on his wife. End sarcasm.
Yay! The sequel is already a better movie now that she's not going to be in it. Oh, and you said exactly what else I was thinking, Krelia :)
Kristen has been making movies since she was 9 years old so she get her roles on merit. And she has the regard of Jodie Foster, a Hollywood heavyweight in her own right for over 40 years. The chemistry between SW and the Huntsman made that movie and Kristen was wonderful in it.
As for the SWATH sequel, Kristen's contract was to have included subsequent films. It really makes no sense for Universal to stand behind Rupert Sanders since SWATH was his 1st movie - he's a commercial director. There has also been a release from Universal that said Kristen out of SWATH-2 isnt' true, that the script hasnt' been written yet.
I saw the movie and I thought it was entertaining. It isn't one I will run out and buy when it comes out in DVD, but I didn't walk away feeling like I wasted my money going to see it. My husband, and 2 kids came too and they all said they liked it. The fact it didn't do real well at the box office seems silly to me they spend the money on a sequel though. But Kristen did a good job at her part in the movie I thought. She played it as it was written and directed. I would have liked to have seen more of the dwarfs though. I like Kristen as an actress, I think the parts she has played she was perfect for and depicted the character she was given, very well. She is awkward in interviews and has made some stupid personal choices, but I still like her as an actress. I try not to judge actors and actresses by their personal life or struggles (since most of it is rubbish) but what they do on the big screen is what counts after-all.
I HATE! Movies that change main characters -even if they are making the sequel about the huntsman -changing snow white (or previous main characters) is death to any movie. Plus I doubt they can find a good enough look alike. But its total BS that she is being ran off but he is allowed back? Grow up, act like adults and learn to work together.
